St. Armand's Circle - A "Must Do" in Sarasota

Greeted by a Sea Horse
Kilwin's
As many times as I have visited Sarasota, I never tire of St. Armand's Circle! Tip: be sure you have a full day to make it around the full circle of shops and restaurants...you'll need it, in addition to comfortable shoes. This shopping mecca is filled with unique shops brimming with resort wear, jewelry, artwork, gifts, shoes, swimwear, men's, women's and children's clothing. It's been cleverly staged around a traffic roundabout just off Lido Beach, so if you tire of browsing, just stroll down to the beach and dive right in!
Tommy Bahama Restaurant
Comfortable spots to sit
I personally look forward to lunch at the Tommy Bahama restaurant and dessert at Kilwin's, famous for their ice cream, handmade confections and fudge. You can even watch the whole process. There are plenty of additional restaurants and cafes, many with outdoor seating to maximize enjoyment of our sunny days and balmy Florida evenings. Variety is not a problem either. There are a variety of cuisines to choose from, including the Columbia Restaurant, famous for its Spanish menu. Don't miss their gift shop! I love my Sangria pitcher I purchased their years ago.
You will also appreciate the welcoming benches scattered along your circular trek. They often are nestled among lovely planters filled with tropical foliage and flowers. Just take in the wonderful ambiance and relax. St. Armand's Circle is a nice place to be and I guarantee, you'll want to return.
